Bronwyn King was born in Morristown, New Jersey in 1973. She received her BA from Kenyon College. Bronwyn studied graphic design at La Scuola D’Arte e Disegno in Florence, Italy, drawing at the SF Academy of Art and SFAI, and textile design at Philadelphia University. Most recently, Bronwyn began oil painting under the tutelage of Master Painters Natasha Mokina and Victor Pakhomkin of Winter Palace Studio.
In addition to working with oil on canvas, Bronwyn works with wax and oil on large format wood panels. She finds beauty in dark and desolate spaces.
Bronwyn’s work has been exhibited at Winter Palace Studio Gallery and is held in private collections.
Bronwyn paints in Hyattsville, Maryland where she resides with her family and operates her design business, bronwyn king design. She hopes to be Grandma Moses someday.
